Product Overview

The HFT-2000 is a feed-table arrangement used with a compatible T-DRILL collaring machine for small-volume manifold production. It supports the tube while the operator positions the collaring unit between outlets.

This page groups the stainless-steel SS version, labelled SST in this catalogue, with the copper configuration. Their capacities and tooling must be reviewed separately. For a Malaysian workshop enquiry, identify your existing machine and send the manifold drawing so the requested table, clamping and positioning arrangement can be specified together.

Choose the stainless-steel or copper configuration

Start with the manifold material and joining process. The HFT-2000 SS brochure covers stainless-steel production, while the copper brochure describes a different collaring arrangement. The table name alone is not enough to identify the correct machine, clamps or forming tools.

  • For stainless-steel manifolds, use the SS capacity chart and specify the intended welded connection.
  • For copper manifold work, use the copper capacity information and state the intended joining method.
  • If you already own a collaring machine, include its exact model and existing accessories in the enquiry.

How the feed-table arrangement works

The run tube is held on the table while the collaring unit is positioned for each outlet. Index positioning supports a repeated layout; free positioning allows the operator to locate other positions using the configured measuring arrangement. The unit moves between outlets without requiring the tube to be repositioned for every collar.

Review the whole sequence, including loading, clamping, collar production and unloading. A feed table should be considered as part of the production setup, together with the compatible collaring machine.

Plan positioning, length and workshop space

The standard workpiece length is 2,000 mm, with optional 2,000 mm extension modules. Longer tubes therefore affect the space needed for the table, workpiece loading and operator access. Send the longest and shortest tube lengths as well as the standard production length.

Optional measuring equipment can help with mixed outlet positions. The copper system also has rotary options for outlets at different angles. Identify the required options in the quotation request rather than assuming they are included.

Match the setup to your manifold production

For a Malaysian fabricator comparing a small-batch manifold setup, the important details are repeat length, outlet spacing, branch sizes and changeover frequency. A standard repeated layout has different positioning needs from a mixed batch with several outlet diameters and angles.

The manufacturer provides examples of production speed, but your output will depend on the component, tooling and handling sequence. State your intended daily quantity and ask for a configuration review against that requirement.

Prepare an HFT-2000 enquiry for your Malaysian workshop

Send Logamweld the manifold drawing, material, tube dimensions and existing collaring-machine model. Include the proposed workshop location and available table space so the requested scope is clear.

Ask the team in Shah Alam to confirm the matching machine, tools, clamps, measuring options and extension modules for the quotation. The SS and copper PDFs below provide separate references for that discussion.

Questions before you choose HFT-2000 SST & Cu

Is the HFT-2000 a complete standalone collaring machine?

It is a feed-table arrangement used with a compatible collaring machine. A quotation should identify the machine, feed table, clamps, tooling and options, especially if you are adding a table to existing equipment.

Can the stainless-steel and copper versions be selected from the same capacity chart?

Use the chart for the actual configuration and material. Check run-tube size, branch size and wall thickness together. Do not carry a capacity from the copper setup over to the SS setup.
