Product Overview

T-DRILL TCC systems use rotary chipless cutting with configurations for coiled tube, straight lengths or combined feed arrangements. This page groups Coil/RL options as a selection guide; it does not represent one fixed machine capacity.

For a Malaysian production enquiry, identify how the raw tube arrives and what the cut component must do next. Material, diameter, wall thickness, cut length and the downstream bending or end-forming process determine which TCC arrangement should be reviewed.

Coil or straight lengths: start with the raw material

A coil-fed cutting arrangement needs the appropriate coil handling and straightening equipment. An RL arrangement handles straight tube stock and requires a loading/feeding solution suited to its lengths. A combined system is worth reviewing when production genuinely requires both.

  • State coil type, stock lengths and material grades.
  • List the cut lengths and quantities rather than only the longest part.
  • Identify the required sorting and the next production operation.

What chipless cutting means for the tube end

TCC uses a rotary cutting method rather than a conventional sawing process that creates chips at the cut. The brochure describes through-cut and pull-apart arrangements on particular models. Their effect on the finished end should be considered against the next operation.

If the component will be mandrel bent, expanded or otherwise end formed, describe that requirement. Ask for the applicable cutting method and finished-end condition to be reviewed for the actual tube specification.

Do not combine capacities from different TCC models

The supplied brochure covers several machines, feeding arrangements and optional operations. A maximum diameter from one system and a minimum cut length from another cannot be treated as one combined capability. Coil and straight-length capacities can also differ within a product range.

Use the proposed machine designation, material and feed arrangement when reviewing capacity. This page keeps the comparison together while the brochure provides the model-specific reference data.

Define straightening, inspection and sorting requirements

Coil handling, straightening, length optimisation and sorting can change the scope of a production cell. Some configurations also offer inspection or integrated end-forming options. Identify the operations you need included and which existing equipment will remain in the line.

For mixed cut lengths, specify how finished parts and waste should be separated. If a stated production rate is important, ask for it to be assessed against your material, lengths and selected options rather than a generic series maximum.

Prepare a TCC production brief for Logamweld

Send the tube specification, raw-stock form, cut-length schedule and end-quality requirement to the Shah Alam team. Include the intended Malaysian production area, utilities, available floor space and quantity targets.

Use your preferred channel to discuss the machine and feeding configuration. Ask the quotation to distinguish the cutter, stock handling, straightening, sorting and any end-forming or inspection equipment so the complete requested scope is clear.

Questions before you choose TCC Coil/RL

Does Coil/RL describe a single machine specification?

It groups different feed arrangements and machine variants. Confirm the exact proposed model and its capacity chart for the required material, feed type and cut lengths.

Is OCC-115 another chipless TCC configuration?

OCC-115 uses orbital cutting and chamfering with a continuous chip. Compare it when that process and end preparation suit the component; it should not be described as chipless TCC cutting.
